Gallery 3954 in BLOOM!

NOMA recently kicked off their annual Art in Bloom event, and some of the lovely artists and designers from Gallery 3954 were on hand for the fete - and to admire the fruits (or flowers) of their labors!

George, Fifi, Kathy, and Julie all donated work to the silent auction - they looked fabulous hanging on the museum walls and decorating the halls (and someone was admiring too much and forgot to photograph!). The auction was lively and successful, raising needed funds for educational projects and exhibitions at NOMA and the community projects of the Garden Study Club.

Fifi and George were also among the 75 plus who did the flower arrangements, which I also over-admired and did not photograph.

Thankfully, Fifi was kind enough to return to NOMA over the weekend, have another looky-loo, and actually take photographs of her's and George's arrangements, plus a few gallery favorites!
Love the orange flowers and white vase (by Fifi!), and the burst of flowers is such a great complement to the painting. PLUS -notice the sweet birdie!

We thought George's arrangement fit the painting so well - the trail of paper and fabric was such a neat surprise! And the paper flowers amidst the greenery was genius!

Loved how Fifi + George were across from eachother!

And now for a few of our favorites....

We love all of Lisa di Stefano's work - and this arrangement is no exception!

Dunn and Sonnier's amazing work in the Great Hall!

Alexis Walter's did such a funky garden!

Grace Kaynor's fabulous tablescape!

Loved the oranges in Chet Pourciau's!

Charlotte Parrino's mirrored the painting exquisitely!

Many congratulations to NOMA for a wonderful event, and to all the artists and participants!
